Ann Cools em Portugal (parte I)

É com grande prazer que o Centro de Formação Clínica das Conchas vai realizar o Curso de Reabilitação do Ombro com Ann Cools. Fundadora da EUSSER, tem mais de 100 artigos científicos sobre o ombro, e um PhD em Ciências Fisioterapia. O curso decorrerá na Escola Superior de Saúde Egas Moniz nos dias 20 e 21 de Outubro.

 

Formação Clínica das Conchas - Doctor Ann Cools, this is your first time lecturing in Portugal. What are your expectations?

Ann Cools - It is always a pleasure and a challenge to teach the course to physiotherapists in different countries. Although all physiotherapists in general have similar competences and knowledge, the challenge is to discuss rehabilitation goals and treatment expectations within the specific setting of our profession within the particular country, and to exchange experience and expertise.  

 

Formação Clínica das Conchas - What can we expect from your Shoulder Course?

Ann Cools - The purpose of this shoulder course is to present and discuss the state of the art of shoulder rehabilitation in general, and in a sport specific setting in particular. The participants are invited to discuss current literature, debate on actual questions, dillemmas and uncertenties, and to practice science based, but clinically relevant treatment skills and rehabilitation exercises. This course is specifically aiming on physiotherapists, licenced in their country to perform their profession.
